                       UNPO Publications

On the occasion of the UN Forum on Minority Issues, UNPO published an issue paper titled ‘Intersectional Discrimination, Multifaceted Problems: Minority Women, Violence and Peace-building’. The paper highlights the vulnerable position of minority women in situations of collective violence, their lack of access to justice, and their exclusion from peace building processes. UNPO calls for more research on the position of minority women, additional protection for women who are fighting for their rights, and more gender awareness during peace-building processes and projects.

                       UNPO Donations

We rely on financial support from our Members and friends to continue our work each year. Such donations are crucial to ensure the continued full participation and engagement of a great number of underrepresented communities, indigenous peoples, minorities and occupied or unrecognised territories. The 2008-2010 General Secretary report gives an overview of the activities we have been working on over the last two years.
