 Get your voice heard and discuss with prominent European liberal politicians the future of Europe! Join the Liberal Academy 2011 in Brussels!
 What is this?
a two-day seminar in the European Parliament in Brussels (held in English language) where 40 students from across Europe discuss their visions and ideas of the future European Union with European liberal politicians and representatives of European liberal think tanks.
 Who can participate?
Students from all universities from all academic backgrounds and European countries, no older than 30 years of age. Students who participate for the first time in the liberal academy will be given priority in the selection process.
 How can I participate?
Essay competition:
We ask you to write a snappy statement in English of max. 500 words on:
“HOW WOULD YOU SPEND THE BUDGET OF THE EUROPEAN UNION?” and send it to info@eldr.eu with subject line “Liberal academy 2011” by 04 July 2011.

A selected number of statements will be published on the website www.eldrfocus.eu
 How will participants be notified?
Selected participants will be notified by 15 July 2011. Accommodation (two nights), board and travel expenses of up to 200 € will be provided for 40 selected participants. They will be asked to contribute with a participation fee of 50 €.
Please note that only selected participants will be contacted. The event is funded by the EP.
