Draft Programme Now Available Online
Over four full days of meetings, the Harm Reduction 2010 conference will includes over 60 sessions. The draft program is updated regularly as speakers confirm their attendance. Speakers must have confirmed their invitations to present by 21 January via email. Please contact Przemek Cieslak if you need assistance.

Harm Reduction Academy Calls For Applications
The first international ‘Harm Reduction Academy’ will be delivered in Liverpool during the conference – accredited and managed by Liverpool John Moores University. The Academy will provide selected students with a clear pathway through the conference programme to enhance their experience and understanding of harm reduction, and will provide an internationally recognised and accredited ‘Certificate of Professional Development in The Reduction of Drug Related Harm’. Applications close on 26 February 2010.

Medical and Health Care Facilities Update
Harm Reduction 2010 will deliver an event that facilitates appropriate care for delegates with specific medical and health care needs, including delegates who use or have used drugs.
The importation of prescribed methadone and buprenorphine will be allowed. Other harm reduction services and supplies will be available from locations near the conference venue. Delegates wishing to import their medication or continue it whilst in the UK must contact Gil Bradbury as soon as possible.

Accommodation Rooms Filling Fast
The conference organisers together with the Mersey Partnership – have negotiated special rates for delegates at a number of major hotels in and around Liverpool. Delegates are strongly advised to make their accommodation booking as soon as possible.

Make Necessary Visa Arrangements Now
We encourage all delegates to apply for their visa applications as soon as possible.
Letters of Invitation can be issued to support your visa applications however delegate fees must be paid first.
